Yesterday’s performances served as an introductory warm-up for the competitors, and a sneak peek for the judges, but are not part of the overall final scoring. As the teams took the floor once again today, the stakes intensified because the judges’ marks will account for 40% of the overall score.
To capture the excitement and intensity we interviewed some of the team members after their performance while the adrenaline was still high, and their faces glowed with the thrill of competition:
“We are really happy with our performance; we’re from all over different parts of America and today was probably [only] our sixth practice total… It was a really strong performance for us…I’m very proud of how we took such confidence and energy and really put on a show,” said Team USA members.
“We are quite happy to perform here. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is cheering for each other. We are waiting for tomorrow, see you in the finals!” – Team Lithuania was happy.
“We are very happy with our performance; we just got off the stage and we’ve been training for this competition for about 2-3 months…go team Australia!”
“Today was pretty good, we weren’t nervous but just did the performance. I would say it is seven points for us today and tomorrow will be better.” – Team Chinese TPE
“We are happy with our performance, we gave everything. We are happy to be here…kisses from Bulgaria!”
“I think we were good, better than yesterday and tomorrow will be the best. Our energy spiked and we love to compete at home.” girls from Team Croatia shared.
As today closes, the camaraderie and fierce competition exemplified by all the teams serve as a reminder of the dedication and passion behind each routine, making every performance a testament to teamwork and team spirit. The results of today’s efforts set the stage for tomorrow’s finals, which hold the remaining 60% of the overall score from the judges.
