In the summer of 2013, as Split hosted European universities’ basketball championships, a new Student dormitory, „Dr Franjo Tudjman“ was opened. It has a capacity of 55 single rooms, 278 double rooms, 10 apartments, a restaurant, a sports venue, a gym, outdoor sports courts, etc. Student dormitory „Dr Franjo Tuđman“ is part of a student Campus located at Cvite Fiskovica 3, just 2.9 km from the City centre. 

Each room has its own bathroom and internet access. In the same building, you can find a charming café “Tinel”, perfect for moments of break, and a self-service restaurant with two self-service lines and a pastry shop. In front of the building, there is a large parking space. A bank and mini-market are located near the building for practical necessities. 

Catering for the needs of the championship will be organized within the student dormitory “Dr. Franjo Tudjman”. It’s a brand-new self-service restaurant that covers a space of 1,500 m², a capacity of over 400 people, 3 self-service lines, and a VIP and a-la-carte area, all the participants will have catering organized in this restaurant provided with three meals per day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
